Autumn veins

Postby Andrew George on Mon Nov 02, 2009 2:08 pm

It was a misty morning and I looked up some trees. It showed nature's veins in Fall.

Very cool shot! Love the way the branches weave their way up, and the chaotic nature of the leaves. I do wish the sky weren't quite so bright, but darkening it may not have the same effect.

I like the patterns, but I see a bit of blue/purple fringing around the finer branches. Reducing the blue/purple color saturation might help produce a more natural look.

Thanks all. Yes indeed, when I chose a little bit more dark exposure the leaves are washed out and
the effect is very dull.
