Great stuff, David. Great light and the catch is an interesting bonus - I really like seeing the foot here, often missing in lower angle images of shorebirds. Lastly, I like the diagonal composition.

Not only a beautiful image .but has added interest from the fact that the sandpiper is doing something other than standing there and looking beautiful.Tiny niggle ,would like a little more space around bird,
